Welcome. It's nice to see you here. I am glad you stopped by. Inside, you will find my thoughts on knitting, design, life as military spouse, parenting, and a host of other things. Grab your beverage of choice and your current WIP, then come on in and joing me while I attempt to figure out how to navigate this crazy life that never slows down for anything...
My grandmother taught me to crochet when I was six. I have done it on and off ever since. Many people tried to teach me to knit, but it did not stick until I broke my toe, and my friend Earl took advantage of the situation. He parked me on the couch (There was at least one bottle of wine involved) and taught me to knit continental style. I was hooked. (Is it still a pun if I was trading my hook for needles?)
I am sarcastic, and have been called opinionated and overbearing. I love cooking, knitting and have reluctantly learned to play chess since my son became passionate about it 8 years ago. I am suprised to find that I really like New Jersey. Growing up in Philly, I NEVER expected to grow up and become a Jersey Girl.
