Get ready for summer. Berry Rita was designed to be a great poolside knit. The bulk of the shawl is knit in soothing stockinette with only color changes to worry about. The stockinette is interrupted with two simple lace panels, and then the shawl is finished off with an oh-so-easy-to-memorize lacy border.
I designed this pattern for a Jilly and Kiddles trunk show at The Local Yarn Store in South Orange. Jill provided yarn support for the shawl, and the colors I used in Fancy Sock are listed below.
Finished Size is approximately 27 x 58”/ 68.5 x 45 cm, depending on how long you choose to make the border.

5 sts and 9 rows per inch in stockinette stitch after blocking.
